EYEING to take his game to the pros, Javee Mocon was the latest to throw his name to the field for the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft.
The 6-foot-4 forward submitted his draft application on Thursday.
"Sobrang excited ako kasi ever since talaga, ito na yung ultimate dream ko, to be the best player that I can be and to compete with the top players," he told SPIN.ph.
Mocon averaged 13.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in his fifth season for San Beda this NCAA Season 94 as he graduated a champion for the fourth time in his seniors career.
The ever-reliable Red Lion is also a member of the Mythical Team twice in Seasons 93 and 94 as the Mendiola squad annexed their dynasty to winning 11 titles in 13 seasons.
Mocon, 23, showed how big his worth is in Game Two of the NCAA Season 94 Finals where he uncorked 16 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks in San Beda's 71-56 victory over Lyceum to be hailed as the Finals MVP.
His entry puts him in the same group as other notable rookie forwards in Bong Quinto, Abu Tratter, and Michael Calisaan, all of whom are expected to land in the middle of the first round.
