RAIN or Shine got an infusion of young blood by adding promising Javee Mocon and JayJay Alejandro to its roster for the PBA's 44th season.
ROS management signed the two first-round picks to separate three-year contract on Tuesday, as per alternate governor Edison Orbiana.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Mocon of San Beda was selected sixth overall by Rain or Shine in Sunday’s rookie draft, while Alejandro of National University, was tabbed two picks later at No. 8.
The two rookies signed their contracts in the presence of Orbiana and Rain or Shine assistant team manager Jay Legacion and agents Regi Cruz, representing Mocon, and Edgar Mangahas for Alejandro.
The Elasto Painters had the most number of picks in the last draft with seven, although Orbiana said the franchise have only reached an agreement with its first two selections.
Others drafted by the team were Paul Varilla (13th) Robbie Manalang (19th) and Harold Ng (20th) in the second round, followed by Kent Lao (30th) in the third round, and Al Josef Cariaga (39th) in the fourth round.
Mocon and Alejandro's signing followed that of No. 3 overall Robert Bolick, who inked a two-year max deal with NorthPort.
