Jared Dillinger and Raymond Almazan got the brunt in the latest round of fines slapped by the PBA.

JARED Dillinger and Raymond Almazan led 12 other players meted corresponding fines during the final stretch of the eliminations and the opener of the PBA Governors Cup quarterfinals.

Dillinger and Almazan were each fined P5,000 for committing flagrant foul penalty 1 in their respective games against Blackwater.

The 33-year-old Fil-Am guard did the infraction against Roi Sumang in the Meralco Bolts‘ first meeting with the Elite in the playoffs, while Almazan was called for the same violation against import Henry Walker during their elimination round encounter.

Also getting a bigger share of the fine was TnT sophomore Mo Tautuaa, whose technical foul for disrespectfully addressing a game official cost him P2,000.

Fined P1,600 each were Walker (technical foul for taunting Almazan) and Star coach Chito Victolero (for entering the court).

All fines go directly to the PBA Players’ Trust Fund.

Also fined were members of the NLEX team that include JR Quinahan (for continuously complaining against the referee’s call), Kevin Alas (technical foul for second motion), Rabeh Al-Hussaini (for technical foul for pointing an accusing finger towards the referee), and Garvo Lanete (for pointing an accusing finger towards the referee), along with assistant coach Clifford Arao (for entering the court).

The rest of the list includes Meralco import Allen Durham (technical foul for second motion) and teammate Garvo Lanete (technical foul for pointing an accusing finger towards the referee), and the Blackwater trio of Dave Marcelo (technical foul for second motion), Mike Digregorio (technical foul for disrespectfully addressing a game official), and assistant coach Joel Co (technical foul for disrespectful gestures).
