JARED Dillinger says Meralco needs to continue to find ways to improve as they try to sustain a strong start after three wins in as many games in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The veteran Dillinger was in no mood to celebrate, as they have San Miguel and Alaska next in their schedule.
"It's a great start, but just like anything else, its a long season to go. It's nice that we’re 3-0, and try to stay ahead of the good teams because we still have a tough schedule ahead, but we still got long ways to go. We still haven’t proven anything."
In a huge win over sister team TNT, four Meralco locals scored in double digits to supplement another dominant performance from their import in Alex Stepheson who had 20 points and 27 rebounds.

Jared Dillinger, Baser Amer, Chris Newsome and Reynel Hugnatan all had their moments in the win.
"When we got a presence like Alex, it gives you confidence that you could be aggressive playing against their wings knowing that he’s got our back down low," said Dillinger who finished with 17 points, spiked by three treys.
"We feel that he’ll be there getting every rebound. When you got a guy like that behind you, you feel you can do anything. We’re really blessed to have him in our squad," he added.
Stepheson struggled to find his offense early in the conference, but the locals have stepped up to mitigate his early shooting woes.
Against TNT, Meralco was finally in full force with Stepheson getting his numbers and the locals chipping in big.
"For a team like TNT, you need a balanced attack because they're too good, too smart. Tonight, the locals stepped up, hit shots when we need to. Tonight was our night," Dillinger continued.
