JAMIE Malonzo missed another game for Barangay Ginebra on Sunday against Blackwater after making his season debut just a few days ago in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Malonzo was ruled out of the match due to a wrist injury sustained in a bad fall after he scored on a dunk in their previous game against Rain or Shine.

The high-flyer also sustained a swollen lip from the bad landing, but his wrist also got hurt while trying to break his fall.
“Jamie had that bad fall in Friday’s game. You can see he has a fat lip on his mouth and he hurt his wrist when he was falling. The wrist was the reason he didn’t play,” said Cone.
Malonzo already missed the first two games of the season, months after he hurt his back in the Fiba Basketball World Cup when he also landed awkwardly during Gilas Pilipinas’ game against South Sudan.
The same back injury forced Malonzo to sit out the Asian Games.
Cone hopes that Malonzo will be back in full fitness when Ginebra faces Terrafirma on Sunday.
“We don’t play until Sunday so we are hoping that by Sunday, he should be fine and ready to go,” said Cone.
