BIG man James Sena was fined P20,000 for the flagrant foul penalty 2 he committed against Jeff Chan in Friday night’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup game between Blackwater and Barangay Ginebra.
Sena was tossed out of the match after the landing spot foul he did against Chan early in the fourth quarter of a game the Elite won in overtime, 108-107.
Chan also failed to finish the game after tweaking his right foot upon landing on Sena while attempting a three-point shot.
No suspension however, was meted on the bruising center out of Jose Rizal University.
The 30-year-old native of Agoo, La Union was no longer summoned at the Commissioner's Office as FFP2 infraction merits an automatic P20,000 fine.
Sena even played in the Elite’s game against Columbian Dyip on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, suiting up for three minutes in a scoreless stint.
Blackwater pulled off a 118-110 win to remain unbeaten in three games and retain the solo lead in the conference.
In contrast, Chan was in civilian clothes and did not play in the Kings' game against the Meralco Bolts after suffering a sprain in his right ankle.
