JAKE Pascual hardly made his presence felt in his first game in an Alaska unifrom on Wednesday, but he's taking it all in stride.
The former San Beda star forward, after all, said he is still in the process of adjusting to the new system a week after Alaska acquired him in a trade with Star for Rome dela Rosa.
"Naninibago pa ako sa system nila, until now nagaadjust pa ako," said Pascual, who finished with two points in nearly five minutes of action in the Aces' 81-79 win against Meralco.
But the former San Beda standout said he felt the need to double his effort after seeing teammates like Calvin Abueva and Vic Manuel play with boundless energy.
His teammates effort on both ends, he added, was simply contagious.
Pascual added he's learning so much from Abueva, his former rival in the NCAA, everyday in practice.
"Kay Calvin, natututo ako sa kaniya sa practice," he said.
