ISAAC Go has signed a one-year contract extension with Barangay Ginebra after spending most of the recently-concluded season recovering from a major injury.

Go’s agency Titan Management Group announced the signing.
The 6-foot-7 big was part of the a trade that also brought Stephen Holt and the No. 3 pick in the Season 49 Draft that eventually became RJ Abarrientos from Terrafirma to the Gin Kings for Christian Standhardinger, Stanley Pringle, and the No. 10 pick that turned into Mark Nonoy.
But Go has only played for Ginebra for seven games, in the Governors’ Cup where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.3 rebounds to be exact, as he suffered a knee injury last September 13 in a match against Rain or Shine.
But with the contract extension and the 50th Season opening on October, he looks headed for full recovery after a long wait.
Go’s signing comes after the Gin Kings lost Jamie Malonzo, who inked a deal with Kyoto in the Japan B.League, and LA Tenorio, who was appointed as new head coach of Magnolia.
