BARANGAY Ginebra lost big man Isaac Go to injury early in its PBA Governors’ Cup game against Rain or Shine at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Friday night.
Go hurt his ankle as he tried to go after an open Felix Lemetti from the three-point arc, eventually committing a landing spot foul on the Elasto Painters rookie.

The 28-year-old former Ateneo big appeared to have suffered an ankle sprain, as he couldn’t put weight on his injured foot and had to be carried out by two Gin King teammates on the way to the dugout.
Go went out at the 3:31 mark of the first quarter with Ginebra up, 25-24.
He was later ruled out for the rest of the game after suiting up for just 79 seconds.
Isaac's injury history
The 6-foot-7 center previously suffered an ACL injury while he was still with Terrafirma, which dealt him to the Gin Kings along with Stephen Holt for the duo of Christian Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle during the offseason.
Ginebra later won the game, 124-102.

But coach Tim Cone said the during the post-game presser the injury to Go actually involved his knee.
"We don't know the severity of his injury, some kind of a knee injury," he said. "That makes this one kind of bittersweet. It's kind of like we won the battle, but we lost the war. Losing Isaac, he was a big part of what we're trying to build."
