TNT's ice-cold start to the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup has inevitable led to questions on Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's job security?
Chot Reyes' one-word response should please RHJ fans.
"YES," came the TNT coach's curt but resounding reply when asked by SPIN.ph if the former NBA player's job is secure and that there are no Tropang Giga plans to bring in a new reinforcement for the mid-season conference.

The Tropang Giga, you see, opted to bring back RHJ in the wake of their run to the PBA Governors' Cup championship rather than take full advantage of the conference format scrapping the height restrictions on imports.
But Reyes' assurance should come as a timely vote of confidence for the 6-5 import, who, through two games, is averaging 26 points on 41-percent shooting, 10.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5.5 turnovers for the Tropang Giga.

Those are certainly pedestrian numbers for an NBA-caliber talent, but Reyes is very much convinced that holes in his lineup caused by injuries and unexpected events are to blame for TNT's poor start than his mid-sized import.
Reyes is particularly steaming over Poy Erram, his volatile center who has played just 4 minutes and 11 seconds this conference because he got ejected from the loss to guest team Eastern for a bonehead flagrant foul penalty on Glenn Yang and his subsequent suspension for the game against NLEX, which TNT also lost.
But at this time, Reyes has no doubt that TNT had right the ship with RHJ leading from the front.
