SHARING a meal with Jessy Mendiola can really do wonders to your game.
Go ask Jeric Teng.
Inspired by the surprise meeting with the teen actress set up by younger brother Jeron, Teng had his best scoring game in his young PBA career in Rain or Shine’s 91-83 victory over Barako Bull on Sunday in the Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“Sobrang inspired,” admitted a vibrant Teng, who finished with 10 points, including two three-pointers, three boards, and one assist in the Painters third victory in four games.
And Chris Tiu could not be any happier for his equally celebrated teammate.
“He struggled the last two games, but the hard work finally paid off,” Tiu said of his fellow Xavier alumni. “I’m sure he’ll keep improving. He has a very good attitude, smart player, wants to learn, hardworker, tough guy."
Teng’s fellow rookie Raymond Almazan also churned in a solid outing of eight points, 11 rebounds, and one block to the delight of Painters coach Yeng Guiao.
“I really gave them enough playing time so that they can get their confidence and they can get their feel in the game,” said the veteran coach.
