JUSTIN Arana hopes to get back in action for Converge next game as the FiberXers fight for dear life in the PBA Governors Cup quarterfinals against San Miguel.
The big man out of Arellano hurt his knee late in Game 2 of the playoffs Saturday night, which the FiberXers lost, 107-100, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Arana finished with 12 points and seven rebounds, but was not on the floor when Converge made a late fightback in the game.

The former Rookie of the Year said he hyperextended his knee and had to be supported by teammates and members of the coaching staff on his way back to the bench.
“Pag-iwas ko dun sa import (EJ Anosike), before ako mag takeoff pag apak ko ng right nag-hyperextend siya. So wala ng power yung legs ko, so sabi ko hindi na ito kaya,” said Arana after the game.
He’s expected to undergo MRI on Sunday to see the extent of the injury.
But Arana is keeping his fingers crossed he’ll be able to see action on Monday in a must-win game for Converge, which is currently down in the best-of-five series, 2-0.
“Hopefully, makapag-laro pa ako sa Game 3 kasi sobrang importante sa amin yun,” he said. “Kasi down kami 0-2. So sana,” added the third year center.
Arana said the FiberXers are keeping a positive mindset that they’ll be able to break through and extend the quarterfinals series.
