ANTIPOLO – Titan Ultra played its final game of PBA Season 50 with its prized player in street clothes and watching from the bench.
Joshua Munzon sat out the Giant Risers’ last outing in the Governors’ Cup, a 149-117 loss to the Terrafirma Dyip on Saturday night at the Ynares Center.
The former No. 1 overall pick was still nursing an injury he sustained in the team’s previous outing against league-leader NLEX that the Titan coaching staff opted to just sit out Munzon for the game.

The Fil-Am forward had a game-high 33 points in the 147-115 blowout loss last Wednesday.
For the conference, Munzon averaged a team-high 17.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
Incidentally, Munzon sitting out Titan’s final outing for the year came just a few days after he reached a new, three-year extension with the franchise.
The new contract however, won’t take effect until Nov. 1.
