STANDING at 6-foot-10 with shoes, Dwight Howard acknowledged the prospect of him playing in the PBA one day as an import.
But also standing in the way of his potential entry is the league's height requirement — capped at 6-foot-9.

Howard claims to be within the height limit but hopes that the PBA will reconsider its policy to pave the way for more high-caliber imports to join the league.

"I'm eligible for the PBA so I think they gotta change the height requirement," said Howard.
"I'm 6-foot-9 without shoes. And with shoes, it adds a little inch. So hopefully they do that (change the height limit) so guys like Dray [Blatche] can come back here and play as well," he added.
'Twin Towers' soon?
Although Howard neither confirmed nor denied his intent to play in the PBA, he did tease a possible second linkup with fellow Strong Group Athletics (SGA) big man Blatche as the league's next "twin towers."
"You know if they change the height requirements, maybe we'll see twin towers here in the Philippines," Howard said.
For now, Howard and Blatche will soon join forces as the SGA's towering star duo in the 33rd Dubai International Basketball Championship which tips off January 19.
