MAGNOLIA hopes Jerom Lastimosa didn’t suffer any serious injury after banging his head on the floor of the Ynares Center in Montalban midway through the first half of the PBA Philippine Cup game against NLEX on Sunday.
Coach LA Tenorio said the sophomore guard will be undergoing the league's concussion protocol within the next 24 to 48 hours.
“Hopefully, wala naming serious na resulta doon, We’re praying the result will be negative and clear kung anuman gawin na procedure (sa kanya) like a CT scan or an MRI,” said Tenorio following Magnolia’s runaway 98-82 victory over the Road Warriors.

The 27-year-old former Adamson star hit his head on the floor after teammate James Laput fell on him while trying to save the ball at midcourt.
He was immediately taken out of the game and brought to the Magnolia dugout while being assisted by team staff.
Lastimosa complained about dizziness and blurred vision, while also nursing a lump on the back of his head.

He didn’t return to the game the rest of the way and finished with four points and an assist in close to 10 minutes of play.
Lastimosa is averaging a second-team best 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists this conference.
“Jerom is a big factor on our team and we’re praying for that (recovery),” said Tenorio.
