AFTER toiling in a number of regional leagues, Hesed Gabo will be making his PBA debut next conference as he signed a one-year deal with NLEX.
Gabo is set to play for the Road Warriors just a month after helping the Nueva Ecija Vanguards win the MPBL crown. The Vanguards made the announcement on their social media page with head coach Jerson Cabiltes present in the signing of the contract with NLEX team manager Larry Fonacier.

After his stint with Mapua in the NCAA, Gabo went undrafted in 2019 in the PBA, but he has been making a name for himself outside the premier professional league.
Gabo was one of the cornerstones of the Vanguards during their run to the title capped by a series win over Zamboanga, leading his team in assists with 5.8 per contest.
He was also part of the AICC Manila squad that captured the inaugural Filbasket title in 2020, and was named MVP in the VisMin Super Cup Mindanao leg in 2021 while playing for Basilan.
Gabo was invited by NLEX coach Frankie Lim to join practices, before eventually getting the nod. He already played for the Road Warriors in their tune-up game against NorthPort on Tuesday.
