THE PBA has approved the trade between TNT and Converge in which Mikey Williams was sent by the Tropang 5G to the FiberXers for Jordan Heading.
The trade was approved on Monday, five days after the teams came into terms.

The PBA approval officially ends the illustrious but, at the same time, tumultuous stint of Williams with TNT.
Picked by TNT at No. 4 in the 2020 draft, Williams led the Tropang Giga to two titles in the 2021 Philippine Cup and the 2024 Governors’ Cup.
Following the second crown, however, the two parties couldn’t agree on a contract extension, and Williams hasn’t played in the PBA since due to the fact that TNT owns his rights, until the draft occurred.
The trade also ends Heading’s brief stint with Converge after he was acquired in trade with Terrafirma last November.
Heading had a solid showing in the 2024-25 Commissioner’s Cup but been saddled with a back injury before the trade.
