ALMOND Vosotros’ contract with TNT expires in a few days; at the end of July to be exact.
Whatever happens next, he already made his case to stay.
Summoned from the bench only from Game 3 onwards, Vosotros responded with averages of 10.2 points on 52.9 percent ( (9-of-17)) shooting from downtown as TNT coach Chot Reyes' most reliable scorer off the bench.

“Well, he obviously made a case for himself for continuing on this team,” Reyes said while making it clear that an extension for Vosotros isn't a given.
“But like I said, that still has to be determined and I'm not going to make that decision by myself. We have to come together as an entire coaching staff.”
Regardless if he gets another contract with TNT or not, Vosotros only has gratitude for Reyes and the rest of TNT.
No spring chicken at age 35, Vosotros never expected to be playing in a PBA Finals – let alone have consistent minutes - at this point in his career. But he got his time to shine for TNT and made the most of it by being Reyes’ designated sparkplug.
“Yun, siguro unang una, sobrang thankful ako kay Coach Chot. Kasi honestly, since na-draft ako 2015, [ngayon lang] nila ako nabigyan ng consistent na minutes. Tapos sa finals pa,” Vosotros said.
“So, hindi ko alam kung paano ako magpapasalamat kay Coach Chot, sa lahat ng coaches, sa management ng TNT. Sobrang thankful ako, and grateful na nabigyan nila ako ng second chance dito.”
That’s why Vosotros isn’t even thinking about an extension. All he's thinking of now is spending some time with his family and that long-delayed Japan vacation.
“Yun nga, siguro now, ang inisip ko, ano lang muna, spend time lang muna ako sa family ko. Kasi hintayin ko muna kung ano 'yung mangyayari in the next few months or few weeks. So, naghihintay lang ako sa kanila,”
“Baka ituloy muna namin 'yung Japan na na-postpone ng asawa ko at mga anak ko. Pero baka di na makasama siguro 'yung anak ko kasi may mga pasok na.”
