TALK `N Text has gone 2-0 since Donnell Harvey took over from Keith Benson, but the balik import was quick to deflect the credit for the Texters' revival in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
“It’s not about the import of Talk `N Text. It’s not about the import of the opposing teams," Harvey said after the Tropang Texters' 86-76 win over Rain or Shine put the Texters above .500 with a 4-3 record.
"It’s about the team, with five players playing on the court. It’s more of a team than individual efforts.”
The 6-8 import scored 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and had three assists in the win over the Elasto Painters as he looks to go one better than last season when he and the Texters lost Game Seven of the Finals to San Mig Coffee.
“I will just play hard and help my team win ballgames, that’s it,” said Harvey.
