Hardcourt stars spend Christmas Day the same way as you and me

    Dec 24, 2012

NOT all PBA stars get to spend Christmas Day the way they want to, what with games to play, practices to attend, or team commitments to attend to.

But for those that have the opportunity to do so, these gods of the hard court look forward to celebrating the occasion the same way as you and me - spending time with family and friends in the best time of the year.

DOUG KRAMER (BARAKO BULL) "Different Christmas setting kami. This is one of our happiest Christmases, we’re blessed and this is it. Dati kasi umuuwi kami sa Baguio."

RICO VILLANUEVA (BARAKO BULL) "Yung pilay (Villanueva tore an ACL during one game this conference) nandito lang sa Manila. (Laughs) Tuloy-tuloy ang rehab ko. Nag off lang ako ng four days. December 26 balik ulit.

So I’ll spend it with my family dito lang sa Manila. Magsisimba muna kami bago Noche Buena.

CHRIS TIU (RAIN OR SHINE) "Will spend Noche Buena with my clan like we do every year. Then mass on Christmas Day to celebrate Jesus’ birth. It’s usually our tradition every year. Just time with family and God."

CYRUS BAGUIO (ALASKA) "With my family lang and loved ones ang Pasko namin. Dapat sana out of town kami kaso we still have practices so dito na lang sa house, mainam na rin para relaxed."

MARK CAGUIOA (BRGY GINEBRA) "I will be spending Christmas with my family and relatives here in the States. (Caguioa flew to the US last Wednesday and will be back around first week of January to join Ginebra’s return to practice on January 7)."

RANIDEL DE OCAMPO (TALK N’ TEXT) "Practice, practice tapos rest.

Sacrifice na lang for the fans.
