GREG Slaughter showed up at the annual Leo Awards for PBA Season 49, though there's no formal agreement yet about his comeback to the league.
"No official yet," said the 7-foot Slaughter, whose rights are now with Titan Ultra following its takeover of the NorthPort franchise.
Slaughter, though, was seen briefly talking with Giant Risers coach Johnedel Cardel at the Novotel Manila.
"Sabi ko nga sa kanya, dito na siya sa amin," said Cardel. "Kapag nakuha namin si Greg, laban na laban na kami."
Slaughter is with currently lined up with Basilan in the MPBL, though he's not seeing action with the team.
But the former Ateneo big man said he remains in playing form, as he continues to work out on his own.
