ANTIPOLO – Barangay Ginebra fielded a depleted frontline on Sunday night as Greg Slaughter was out with an injury for the Gin Kings’ PBA Philippine Cup matchup against Alaska.
Already without Joe Devance and Art dela Cruz, the Gin Kings missed their best big man in Slaughter, who is nursing a strained hamstring.
Slaughter is coming off a solid game against the Blackwater last week where he registered 20 points, 10 boards, four assists, and one block in 34 minutes in a losing effort.
Without Slaughter, who stands a shade below seven feet, frontline partner Japeth Aguilar, Jervy Cruz, and Aljon Mariano took care of the rebounding duties for the Gin Kings against the Aces.
