GLOBALPORT has made an early import change to allow Dominque Sutton to pursue his NBA dream.
The Batang Pier have acquired the services of Mike Glover in place of Sutton, who was invited for a workout by reigning NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
Team manager Bonnie Tan confirmed the management move to bring in Glover, nicknamed 'Optimus Prime,' as Sutton's replacement.
Glover has played in Turkey, Argentina, and Mexico. He last played for the Halifax Hurricanes in the National Basketball League of Canada.
He just passed the required 6-foot-5 height for imports Saturday at the PBA office.
The 28-year-old Glover, who was undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Iona, tries to lead the Batang Pier to thier first victory in three games in the PBA Governors Cup.
