GLOBALPORT rookie RR Garcia hopes to sustain an impressive rookie season in the PBA in the new year.

Despite a seemingly seamless transition from amateur to pro, the rookie selected sixth overall in the last draft knows the PBA is a whole new ballgame.

For his New Year wish, Garcia only had one thing in mind.

Among the talented batch of freshman who made to the pro league, the Zamboanga native wants to help the Batang Pier win a championship.

“Wish ko mag-champion siyempre,” he said. ”Di pa kasama ang Rookie of the Year award. Basta ang importante naman 'yung team.”
