MAGNOLIA gets another chance at a finals berth while Barangay Ginebra looks to force a rubber match in the PBA Governors’ Cup semifinals on Friday night at the Ynares Center.

Game Four is set at 7 p.m. in an expected overflow crowd at the Antipolo venue.

The Kings gained another shot at retaining the Governors’ Cup title they have held for two seasons after a 107-103 win over the Hotshots on Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Ginebra won after overcoming an 18-point deficit to finally grab a win in the best-of-five semifinal series.

“Ynares on a Friday night. It’s going to be fun,” said Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone.

A winner of 21 championships in the PBA, Cone admitted he and his staff weren’t able to do a good job at coaching in Game Three.

“We were able to sneak this one in (Game Three). I'm not sure how. It certainly wasn't great coaching. It was great play by our guys. Hopefully, I can be a little bit more effective for them, for our guys on Friday,” said Cone.

Magnolia coach Chito Victolero, meanwhile, said, just like Game Three, the team sees Friday’s game as a do-or-die contest.

“The next game is also a do-or-die for us also. Kailangan lang namin mag-prepare hard mentally including the coaching staff, me, and the rest of the players. Inaasahan namin namin na it is going to be a long series. Now 2-1 na, same mindset pa rin na do-or-die heading into Game 4,” Victolero said.
