MAVERICK Ahanmisi has been granted the trade he wished for.
And he got a bonus out of it.
Ahanmisi was dealt by Barangay Ginebra to Terrafirma late Tuesday night that will have him joining and playing together with younger brother Jerrick.

Also part of the deal is long-time Barangay Ginebra guard Aljon Mariano.
The Gin Kings received the first round pick of the Dyip for the Season 51st draft which would be held in January 2027.
The papers had already been sent to the PBA office and approved later on.

The 34-year-old Ahanmisi came out in the open last week asking Ginebra management for a trade following a dip in his playing time last season.
He came at Ginebra which was the team of his choice after becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2023 and following his best season in the league while playing for Converge, where he was named Most Improved Player in Season 47.
Mariano, meanwhile, will end his decade-long stint with the franchise, which picked him in the second round of the 2015 draft (no. 16) and where he won a total of seven championships.
Jerrick was acquired by Terrafirma in the trade with Magnolia for Javi Gomez De Liano prior to the start of the season.
He didn't get to sign with the team until the week leading to Season 50.
