Ginebra won two games during the preseason, having beaten Terrafirma, 108-81, on Wednesday, although the Gin Kings also lost to Blackwater, 94-93, last Friday.
Japeth Aguilar didn’t play for Ginebra in all tune-up games after undergoing surgery on his injured finger.

Magnolia also ended up with a similar 2-1 slate in the tune-ups, having defeated Phoenix, 82-70, and losing to NLEX, 78-77, on a game-winner by JB Bahio for the Road Warriors.
NorthPort still carried its old name and wore Batang Pier uniforms during the tune-up game against Ginebra, a day after the supposed announcement of the formal approval of the sale of the franchise to Pureblends Corporation didn't happen.
