BARANGAY Ginebra is again banking on inspiration from its past in a bid to make the PBA Philippine Cup finals for the first time in a long while.

The 'Living Legend' Robert Jaworski, who inspired the team's never-say-die spirit, is set to watch the do-or-die encounter between the Kings and the Star Hotshots on Tuesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena for the right to meet San Miguel in the finals.

"Yes he will watch," said Jaworski close friend and associate Relli De Leon in a text message to SPIN.ph.

League media bureau chief Willie Marcial also confirmed he has been advised that Jaworski and his small party will watching Game Seven.

"Nagpasabi. Four to five persons ang kasama niya," said Marcial.

During Game Six of the Governors Cup finals, the 70-year-old former Ginebra playing-coach also watched the match between the Kings and the Meralco Bolts, and proved to be the team's lucky charm as Ginebra won the title - and the series - behind import Justin Brownlee's three-pointer at the buzzer, 91-89.

Jaworski also did a pep talk at halftime inside the Ginebra dugout as the Kings trailed the Bolts after two quarters.
