BARANGAY Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons continued to draw in the crowd as 22,361 paying fans showed up for Game 6 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

It wasso far the biggest crowd to grace the best-of-seven title series and the largest in a league finals since Game 6 of the 2016 Governors’ Cup series between the Kings and Meralco Bolts, which Ginebra won on Justin Brownlee’s game-winning three pointer.
That match drew a live audience of 22,528.
The attendace was also the highest in the pandemic era, or since the 2019 Philippine Cup season opener which recorded 23,711 paying fans.
