COUNT national coach Chot Reyes among those impressed by Barangay Ginebra's form so far this season.
"Ginebra is SCARY," the Gilas Pilipinas coach tweeted on his account @coachchot shortly after a thrilling PBA Philippine Cup game that saw Ginebra hold off GlobalPort, 109-103, on Saturday night.
Reyes, who to date has close to 80,000 followers on Twitter, gave an animated account on the social networking site on the Thursday game which a lot of fans missed since it was not carried live by TV5.
Incidentally, Reyes is the new head of Sports5, the sports arm of the station.
"How d'ya spell unstoppable? TERRENCE ROMEO," he tweeted when rookie Terrence Romeo led a late GlobalPort charge from the depths of what once stood as a 21-point deficit.
The flamboyant former Far Eastern University star finished with 27 points to Caguioa's 29, who nonetheless had the last laugh by scoring 14 of Ginebra's last 18 points to secure the victory.
"But @officialMC47 just showed who's boss," Reyes later tweeted.
Another coach who obviously enjoyed the game was FEU's Nash Racela, who saw former Tamaraws RR Garcia and Romeo combine for 47 points in the finest game played so far this season.
"Proud of our FEU boys @tbvromeo and @GarciaRR8 ???? They're really made for the pros," tweeted Racela.
