TERRAFIRMA put premium on size and made Geo Chiu the No. 1 overall pick of the PBA Season 5O Draft on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena Music Hall.
Standing at 6-foot-9, Chiu became the second straight big man to be made No. 1 overall after Justine Baltazar of Converge last year.
The FiberXers, after trading for the No. 2 overall selection from Phoenix for the no. 8 pick and Bryan Santos, tapped veteran international guard Juan Gomez De Liano at second overall.
Blackwater, meanwhile, made former Batang Gilas standout Dalph Panopio at third overall, forming an explosive backcourt with Sedric Barefield, last year's No. 2 overall selection.
