GANI Lawal has been reactivated to the Meralco line-up in time for the Bolts’ PBA Commissioner's Cup match-up against NLEX on Wednesday.
Lawal returned to the active roster to replace Jimmie Lee Taylor, who had a decent game against TNT last Saturday where he finished with 13 points and 18 rebounds.
Following the TNT game where Terrence Jones dominated with 49 points, Meralco coach Norman Black admitted they were assessing their import situation on whether they will be making a change or not.
Lawal averaged 28.5 points and 22 rebounds for the Bolts before being sent down temporarily to the injured/reserve list.
With Lawal on the roster, the Bolts are 3-2, but have suffered two straight defeats to take eighth place in the team standings.
