BARANGAY Ginebra is on pace for another blowout win in the PBA 49th Season Commissioner’s Cup semifinals after building a 68-39 halftime lead over NorthPort in Game 2 at the Philsports Arena.
The Gin Kings led by as many as 30 points in the first half as they look for a big follow-up to their 115-93 win in Game One of the best-of-seven semifinal series against the top-seeded Batang Pier on Wednesday.

Jamie Malonzo scored 14 points, while Scottie Thompson and Japeth Aguilar had 10 points each for Ginebra in the first half, which also saw the return of Jeremiah Gray after a lengthy absence due to an ACL injury.
William Navarro had 14 points for NorthPort but Arvin Tolentino continued to struggle in the first half with four points on 2-of-9 shooting from the field.
The deficit swelled in the second quarter after the Batang Pier were outscored by the fourth-ranked Gin Kings, 33-19.
Ginebra posted its biggest lead at 65-35.
