GAME Five of the PBA 49th Governors’ Cup finals between TNT and Barangay Ginebra drew 12,727 spectators on Wednesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The crowd attendance didn’t surpass Game Four’s tally where a total of 16,783 fans were present in the Gin Kings' 106-92 triumph over the Tropang Giga, the most since Game Seven of the 2022-23 Commissioner’s Cup finals between Ginebra and Bay Area Dragons.

Nevertheless, the number was still slightly higher than the Game Three attendance where 11,320 fans were recorded in the Gin Kings’ 85-73 win.
Several fans during Wednesday night’s game were already heading towards the exits as early as the fourth quarter, as TNT dominated Ginebra from get-go for a crucial 99-72 victory.
Tayo na sa Antipolo?
The win sets the stage for Game Six - the final game at the Big Dome for the conference - where the Tropang Giga will look to close out the series in what could be another banner crowd on Friday night.
If TNT can’t get the job done, Game Seven will be held on Sunday at the Ynares Center in what could be a record-setting night once again at the Antipolo City venue.
Game One was played at the Ynares Center where it drew 11,021, the most attended PBA game in the venue.
