Game 7 of Ginebra-TNT finals sets new PBA attendance record at MOA

THE deciding Game 7 of the Commissioner's Cup finals has just broken the PBA attendance record at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Barangay Ginebra and defending champion TNT drew a crowd of 24,617 that now stands as the league's all-time high in attendance at the Pasay venue.

The figures broke the previous mark of 23,616 established in Game 7 of the 2015-16 Philippine Cup finals between San Miguel and Alaska.

That winner-take-all match a decade ago became known as the 'Beer-acle' after the Beermen completed a miraculous comeback from 0-3 down to win the championship.
