IF the audience that showed up last Friday is any indication, Game Six could be a blockbuster at the gates for the PBA.
A total of 10,039 spectators were on hand in Game Five of the PBA 49th Season Governors’ Cup at the Ynares Center, easily the largest crowd of the conference. Surely, it was like rain coming after a long drought for a league that practically played before near-empty arenas during the eliminations.

The doubleheader had Barangay Ginebra routing San Miguel, 121-92, and TNT dispatching Rain or Shine, 113-95.
The crowd at Ynares Center last Friday was actually the third largest crowd to have attended a PBA game in the Antipolo arena, according to statistics chief Fidel Mangonon.
The first was on December 21, 2011 when 10,952 watched Barangay Ginebra versus Rain or Shine, and Petron against Meralco in the 2011-12 Philippine Cup.
The second largest was on February 5, 2017 during a doubleheader of San Miguel against Rain or Shine, and Barangay Ginebra versus Alaska in the quarterfinals of the 2016-17 Philippine Cup which attracted 10,411 fans.
Only one game is scheduled on Sunday, but with Ginebra going for a place in the finals against San Miguel, the tussle could be in line for a possible record crowd at the Big Dome.
