WHATEVER trade transactions in the pipeline for Ginebra are now at the disposal of newly appointed coach Frankie Lim.
So what are those trade transactions?
A source told Spin.ph that one of the deals close to being sealed is the shipping of seldomnly used guard James Forrester to Barako Bull for the team’s 2015 first round pick.
The deal was supposed to be consummated prior to the trade deadline last week.
“Hindi pa natuloy yan, pero nagka-usap na yan eh. Siguro, hinintay pa kung ano mangyayari sa campaign ng team sa playoffs,” said the source.
Forrester’s transfer to Barako will reunite the Fil-Canadian high flyer with his college mentor at Arellano University, Koy Banal, now the head coach of the Energy.
Another long-rumored move is the transfer of LA Tenorio to the Globalport Batang Pier for top rookie pick Stanley Pringle.
Tenorio, said to be close to team governor Alfrancis Chua, reportedly had misunderstandings with teammates over the past three conferences.
A source told Spin.ph that Tenorio’s trade has been delayed several times and it is now up to Lim to push the button or not.
Spin.ph also learned Ginebra is in pursuit of Terrence Romeo, who the Kings want to acquire in exchange for Dylan Ababou and another player.
