Escandor signed a two-year deal with the Fuel Masters, as confirmed by Phoenix team manager Paolo Bugia.
Escandor and his representative Marvin Espiritu were welcomed by Bugia and team governor and PBA Board treasurer Atty Raymond Zorilla during the contract signing.
He was a second round selection (no. 13) of Rain or Shine in last year's draft, but never get enough playing time in his first and only season with the franchise.
Eventually, he was unloaded by the Elasto Painters - along with veteran big man Mark Borboran - but eventually picked up by the Fuel Masters.
According to Bugia, Escandor will take on the place left by Larry Muyang and Simon Camacho as both players are now seeing action in the MPBL.
Escandor came to the PBA armed with a UAAP men's basketball championship with the La Salle Green Archers.
