JAYDEE Tungcab will be out for at least two months after going down with a fractured hand in Blackwater’s PBA Governors’ Cup game against San Miguel.
Tungcab had the injured left hand wrapped in bandages when he showed up at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Friday night as the Bossing finally notched their first win of the season with an upset of the Barangay Ginebra Kings, 95-88.
‘May bali siya,” he said, while showing the X-ray result of the fractured hand.

The good news is that the former Gilas Pilipinas pool player will not undergo surgery to heal the injury.
“Buti na lang hindi siya kailangan operahan,” said Tungcab, 27.
But the bad news is he’ll be out for two months, meaning he’s set to sit out the rest of the season-opening tournament.
“Two months yung sabi ng doctor na healing period niya,” the 6-foot-2 product of University of the Philippines said.
Tungcab hurt his hand while trying to go for a steal from behind import Jordan Adams.
“Tumama sa braso niya,” he said of the impact that caused the injury.
Tungcab has now been relegated to the team’s injured list, with former reserve RK Ilagan being promoted to take his spot.
Blackwater carries a 1-3 record in Group B and will next play Phoenix this Tuesday.
