A NIGHT after comparing himself to Draymond Green, GlobalPort replacement import Murphey Holloway wasn't expected to be as good as the Warriors workhorse.

    But he ain't bad.

The hulking 6'4 former NFL player from the Baltimore Ravens was a beast in the paint as he scored 29 points, grabbed 26 rebounds while adding three assists, three blocks and two steals to tow the Batang Pier to a 100-91 victory over the erstwhile unbeaten Phoenix Fuelmasters on Wednesday.

Being a physical presence is something that's not entirely new to him, after getting used to the bump and grind of American football. That type of physical advantage showed ij his debut.

"That's easy because I played basketball first. NFL, they want me because of my size. That helps you, man, playing in the NFL, playing against guys like Ray Lewis," said Holloway, who said that it was his good friend and last conference's best import, Charles Rhodes, who convinced him to play here.

"Getting hit everyday, getting in basketball is different from getting hit in football. It's a lot softer," he added.

But while he turned heads due to his stellar play, it was Holloway who was left impressed with his teammates, particularly Terrence Romeo.

Romeo finished with 21 points and five assists and took over when fatigue started to kick in for their replacement import.

'It was a great game, man. I also got a great team around me also. When I got tired, I let Romeo get away with it. It was a great game," Murphy continued.

"I never met Romeo (before) but I think he's the real Romeo to the girls. I'm like, 'Damn!' From America I did not know him but he's a big deal the way he plays."
