TERRENCE Romeo will be back in action for San Miguel when it faces Rain or Shine on Friday in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
SMB team manager Gee Abanilla confirmed the return of the flamboyant guard after he missed the Beermen's last three games, including a 104-93 defeat to Romeo's former side TNT on Sunday.
Romeo, who had a falling-out with the KaTropa prior to the season and was shipped to the Beermen in exchange for Brian Heruela, David Semerad, and TNT's 2020 first-round pick, suffered a sprained ankle in the team's season-opener against Columbian Dyip two weeks ago.
The three-time scoring champion will be a big shot in the arm for the four-time defending champion, which has had a rather shaky start to the season and has stumbled to an even 2-2 win-loss card.
Romeo, though, will have his hands full as he'll face off against James Yap and a motivated Elastopainters squad, which is out to atone for its first defeat of the season, 111-99, at the hands of Blackwater on Wednesday.
