AFTER a long layoff, Chris Lutz is simply happy to be back on the court.
“After a long time of not playing, it feels great,” Lutz said as he emerged from the Petron dugout after a 92-102 loss at the hands of Meralco. “This is what I really want, to be back out there playing.”
The game was the Fil-American guard's first since fracturing a rib right on the Boosters' first game in the PBA Commissioner's Cup against Globalport last February 8.
Lutz came off the bench to score six points, but at this time his concern is to get his rhythm and timing back as he girds up for the Boosters' run in the final stretch of the eliminations.
“I just got to get my rhythm and timing back,” he said. “And get back to playing with the guys (teammates) and get my rhythm with (new import) Henry (Sims).”
He added: “For sure I’ll go out there and help the team get as much (wins) I can. I want to get us in a good position and get ready for the playoffs.”
