FOR these PBA rookies, it’s the first time they’ll spend Christmas as certified millionaires.

For all the sweat and hard work they’ve put in to fulfill their dreams and reach where they are now, it’s only fitting for these first-time pros to reward themselves this holiday season.

While most of them wish for material things, not all are for their own as some yearn to give gifts of joy to their loved ones.

Below are some of the Christmas gifts and wishes by a group of rookie players as told to SPIN.ph

    MAC BELO (Blackwater)

“Ito yung panalo (against GlobalPort) kahit papaano masaya yung Pasko namin. Hopefully, sa Christmas day, manalo kami ulit (against Mahindra).”

    KEVIN FERRER (Barangay Ginebra)

“Best gift na gusto ko, manalo sa Manila Classico (against Star on Christmas Day). First time in history na malalaruan ko ito. Sana magawa ko yung dapat kong gawin, and I promise that I’ll do my best.”

    ROGER POGOY (TnT Katropa)

“Plano ko is to buy a laptop, kasi sira na yung laptop ko.”

Kasi first time ko ring mag-Pasko dito sa Manila. Usually Christmas and New Year, doon ako (Dingras, Ilocos Norte).”

    MIKE TOLOMIA (Rain or Shine)

Secret muna.”

    RAPHAEL BANAL (Blackwater)

“To be honest, hindi ko pa naiisip. It’s more of like kung ano lang yung regalo ko sa family ko, kasi grabe yung support nila sa akin my whole life. Hindi ko pa talaga na-decide.”

“It’s gonna be big, kahit alam kong hindi siya mame-measure kung ano ang binigay sa akin ng family ko, pero it’s more like a token of gratitude.”

“It’s gonna be expensive for sure. Hindi ko pa alam exactly. Maybe it’s a surprise.”

    JERICHO DE GUZMAN (Barangay Ginebra)
