CANDON City – Marc Pingris and Arwind Santos turned back the hands of time, as they reinforced the Rookies-Sophomores and Juniors squads in the PBA Season 50 All-Star weekend on Friday.
The two went at each other in several sequences, but Santos and the Rookies-Sophomores came out on top in their match-up and prevailed, 154-150.

Santos finished with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Pingris had six, though both players showed they can still keep pace with their younger counterparts.
“Kulitan lang namin ni Arwind yun,” said Pingris of his face-off with the former MVP.
Veterans still got it
Santos, 44, agreed with Pingris, also 44.
“Brasuhan, sikuhan talaga. Gusto namin talaga manalo.”

Santos and Miller reinforced the Rookies-Sophomores, while Pingris and Ranidel de Ocampo suited up for the Juniors squad.
