STEPHEN Holt has signed a two-year deal, and is bound for Manila to join Terrafirma in its build-up for the upcoming season of the PBA.

Team governor Bobby Rosales confirmed the development.

Seen as the most talented player in the draft based on his credentials, the 31-year-old Holt was not around to join the festivities held at the Market! Market! in Taguig last September 17 after he was drafted No. 1 overall by Terrafirma.

A product of Saint Mary’s in the NCAA Division I, Holt played for Canton Charge in the NBA G League during the 2014-2015 season as well as two stops with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League.

Holt went on to play in Australia and Europe, most recently in Romania for the CSM U Oradea before obtaining his Philippine passport and entering the PBA draft.

The 6-foot-4 Holt said he declined offers from Europe just so that he can play in the PBA.
