CHANGWON LG Sakers won over NLEX, 116-89, in a tune-up game last Tuesday marred by an altercation, a video of which recently surfaced online.
The video saw Changwon import and former NBA player Archie Goodwin and NLEX player Enoch Valdez get into a heated exchange resulting in the benches clearing in order to separate the two.
The clip also saw Changwon LG Sakers’ Filipino import Carl Tamayo, who didn’t play in the game, helping to pacify Valdez in trying to break the fight.
Punches were not thrown based from the short clip.
The Sakers have been playing a series of tune-up games with PBA teams in preparation for their title defense for the upcoming KBL season.
Changwon previously defeated Magnolia twice, 122-79, and 104-90; Rain or Shine, 112-95; and Terrafima, 135-92.
