BARANGAY Ginebra fans were intrigued about the latest post by former import Tony Bishop.
On Thursday, Bishop posted a photo on his Instagram story of him working out while wearing Ginebra shorts.

Coincidentally, his post comes after Justin Brownlee became questionable for the finals series in the 2024-25 PBA Commissioner's Cup after sustaining a dislocated right thumb in Game 3.

Bishop came in to the Gin Kings during the 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup while Brownlee was serving a suspension for failing a doping test after the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

But a return by Bishop is very much unlikely.
For starters, Ginebra looks intent on not finding a replacement for Brownlee, at least for Game 4, to be held at the Ynares Center.
And, second, Bishop appears to have already retired from basketball.
A look at his Instagram account shows that the 35-year-old Bishop is now a player development coach, as indicated in his profile.
His LinkedIn account also shows that Bishop has already taken a job in the financial industry.
"After an incredible 13-year career in professional basketball, I'm excited to start a new chapter with Northwestern Mutual," wrote Bishop on his LinkedIn just a week ago.
