LOOKING to bolster its wings, NLEX added Enoch Valdez to its PBA Commissioner's Cup roster after signing him to a two-year rookie contract.
NLEX management confirmed the signing done in the presence of new team governor Ronald Dulatre, team manager Larry Fonacier, Valdez and his representative Edgar Mangahas.

Valdez came on board a day after Lyceum failed to take advantage of its twice-to-beat edge and was ousted by San Beda in the NCAA Season 99 Final Four.
The 6-foot-2 Valdez erupted for 28 points, but still wasn't enough to save the Pirates' season after an 82-72 loss to the Red Lions in their do-or-die encounter on Friday.
Valdez was a second-round pick (No. 18 overall) by the Road Warriors in the last rookie draft, but was allowed to finish his final season with Lyceum before signing with the franchise.
He joins an NLEX side that is coming off a 99-72 loss to unbeaten leader Magnolia on Friday night that dealt the team its third loss in five outings.
