AN earthquake struck Saturday night and was felt inside the PBA bubble at the Clark Freeport in Pampanga.
The earthquake had a 4.7 magnitude and whose epicenter is located in Camiling, Tarlac City as per report by Phivolcs (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology).
“Earthquake in the bubble. Bubbly earthquake,” posted Rain or Shine wingman Kris Rosales on his Twitter account.
“Ang lakas ng lindol dito,” said NLEX deputy coach Adonis Tierra.
"Yes, sa Tarlac daw 4.6 (magnitude)," added Blackwater coach Nash Racela.
So far no damage has been reported at Quest Hotel where the entire league delegation is staying as of post time.
There were players however, especially those who slept early, who didn't feel the effect of the ground shaking.
"Tulog na, pagod kasi," said NLEX guard Kevin Alas. "Late night na daw, eh. Pero yung iba naramdaman nila,"
Commissioner Willie Marcial said he did get confirmation and calls about the earthquake.
PBA teams arrived at Clark this week where the league set up a bubble to restart the season with the resumption of the Philippine Cup.
The first and only conference this season is set to start on Oct. 11 at the Angeles University Foundation gym.
