DREI Cahilig suffered an hyperextended left knee in the second quarter of Game 4 of the PBA 49th Season Philippine Cup and didn't return.
Cahilig, however, doesn’t see anything serious with the injury after Jeremiah Gray fell on him during a rebound play in the 10:56 left in the second quarter.

“So far, I don’t think it’s anything serious,” said Cahilig. “It was just a hyperextension. I’m going to get an MRI tomorrow.”
Cahilig laid flat on his back after Gray landed on his knee, but stood up and walked on his own back to the San Miguel bench.
The former Terrafirma big man also walked out of the SM Mall of Asia Arena without any assistance.
Cahilig hopeful
“As of now, I can put weight and walk on it. I don’t think it’s anything (serious). It hurts but it’s nothing serious, which is good,” said Cahilig, who only played one minute and 42 seconds in Game 4.
The 6-foot-3 Cahilig admitted he got anxious on the initial contact by Gray.
“I fouled Gray and then when he came down, went into my knee. And he fell backwards. I got scared beause I heard a crack but I think it was the joint that cracked but I was not sure that’s why I got really scared,” said Cahilig.
Cahilig has been providing quality minutes for SMB with his best game of the series coming in Game 2 when he had nine points, three rebounds, and three assists.
